Divide 2025 is a large-scale sculptural installation formed across 130 metres of trees by careful bending and manipulation of branches by hand and securing them with over 800 metres of natural biodegradable rope. It reflects the human fabrication of divisions in global society whilst demonstrating that all is rooted in the same whole, and the division is reversible. Over time the cord will degrade and the divide will disintegrate and revert back to the whole, presenting an optimism for the future.
